Capitol Entertainment Services, Inc. , a DC tour bus company since 1979, has provided chartered bus transportation and guided sightseeing bus tours in Washington, DC. until the company retired the bus fleet in 2016. All sightseeing bus tours were conducted by DC licensed professional guides. Capitol Entertainment Services, Inc. converted its sightseeing bus tours to GPS tour guide apps.

With the Washington, DC Driving/Walking GPS tours guide app, you can experience a self-guided tour of the nations capital, Washngton, DC. This GPS tour guide app includes a historical overview of Washington, DC and 29 tour site audios and videos that can be played during the tour or at home on bluetooth devices. The GPS pins allow you to get directions to each tour site. Once you arrive at the tour site, the audio will automatically play giving you an interesting anf informative sightseeing experience.
WASHINGTON, DC AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY TOURS
With the Washington, DC African American History Tour GPS tour guide app, you can experience a self-guided tour of the nations capital highlighting African American History. This GPS tour guide app includes a historical overview of Washington, DC African American History and 21 tour sites audios and videos that can be played during the tours or at home on bluetooth devices. The GPS pins allow you to get directions to each tour site. Once you arrive at the tour site, the audio will automatically play giving you an interesting and informative sightseeing experience.
APP OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. To select a tour site, tapthe menu drop-down list at the top right. 2. To get directions, tap the "map" icon at the bottom and select a tour site GPS pin. Then tap the "direction sign" icon at the bottom to start directions. 3. To hear the tour site audio, tap the tour site "audio" button. 4. To watch the tour site video, tap the tour site video "play" button. Your Ipad or tablet must be cell data capable or it must be a smart phone. Wifi only ipads will work for the on-site GPS tour.
